“WEBTOON is growing aggressively in digital entertainment and has already amassed over 50 million monthly unique users. The Content Department is looking for a detail-oriented Operations Associate who will help with finance operations and project management at WEBTOON’s Los Angeles headquarters. The Content Department is responsible for the greenlighting, development, production, and programming of Original series on WEBTOON.”
“We are looking for a Bilingual Comics Editor/Producer with both creative and logistical chops to source and develop compelling original content, aimed at our Gen-Z and Millennial audience in Latin America.
The Bilingual Editor/Producer will be responsible for managing and editing a variety of series sourced from external pitches coming from creators in Latin America as well as series elevated to Originals from our Canvas platform.
The Editor/Producer is a black belt ninja who knows when to get out of the way and when to step in, and is a talented problem-solver who isn’t easily rattled. The ideal candidate will have experience working with comic creators, strong relationships with writers and artists and other entertainment talent who are developing content for this market, and experience in digital content production.
You have a deep knowledge of and passion for WEBTOON and demonstrate an understanding of current trends on social media and apps that appeal to a youth market in Latin America. This position reports to the LatAm Content Manager for Webtoon and will work closely with the Webtoon Marketing team and other groups across the Webtoon ecosystem. Resumes should include links.
