Last month, orangeDmsn, a subsidiary of RIDI, released of the song “Don’t Cry, My Love” the first Under the Oak Tree OST. The song is sang by Cha Eun Woo, actor known for playing in Rookie Historian Goo Hae-ryung and True Beauty, and a member of the K-POP group ASTRO. orangeDmsn had previously teased the song’s release through several promotional tweets.
Prior to the song’s release was also the video of Cha Eun Woo promoting the song.
“Don’t Cry, My Love” is an emotional ballad about Riftan’s love for Maximilian. Along with the talented Cha Eun Woo, the creation of the song consisted of lyrics by Brother Soo, Jina, composition by Wonjin Suh, Kim Jaime, and arrangement by Wonjin Suh. “Don’t Cry, My Love” is a music piece that really captured the essence of the webtoon Under the Oak Tree and the emotions evoked within the story by its beloved characters.
There are two video versions of the song: the official lyric video released by orangeDmsn and the official video released by RIDI, which features the animated webtoon.
